Directions
Batter:
- Wash and chop the cabbage.
- In a bowl mix flour, broth, eggs, salt and sugar.
- Add chopped cabbage.
- Mix everything together and divide into 4 portions.
Sauce:
- Add ketchup, soy sauce, honey and worcestershire sauce to the bowl.
- Thoroughly mix everything together and put it aside.
Preparation:
- Heat the pan over medium heat, add a little oil.
- Pour out one portion of the dough and make it round shape and about 2cm thick.
- Place a few slices of bacon on top and fry for about 5-7 minutes.
- Turn the pancake on the other side, cover the pan and fry for another 5 minutes.
- Spread the prepared sauce on both sides.
- Fry the rest of the portions.
- Serve for example with green onion, bell peppers, katsuobushi flakes and mayonnaise.

Batter:
500 g green cabbage
200 ml dashi*
160 g all purpose flour
4 eggs
40 g tenkasu**
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
Sauce:
3 tbsp. ketchup
3 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. honey
Toppings:
mayonnaise
katsuobushi flakes
bacon strips
scallions
bell pepper
oil for frying
*instead of dashi, you can use another broth or water.
**tenkasu is a crispy, fried flakes of tempera. You can make them yourself or buy them in Asian food stores. If you can't get it, it can be omitted.
