Directions
- Mix water, 4 tbsp. of milk and 2 tbsp. of flour in a pot.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until the consistency of playdough is reached.
- Dissolve the yeast in the rest of the milk and set aside for 10 minutes.
- Add sugar, salt, flour, 1 egg, 1 yolk, butter at room temperature and the previously prepared mixture of water, milk and flour.
- Mix everything together and knead the dough for 10 minutes.
- Put the kneaded dough into a bowl sprinkled with oil, cover it and set aside for 2 hours in a warm place to rise.
- Divide the risen dough into 6-10 pieces, depending on the size of the rolls you want to make.
- Wrapping the edges of the dough inside, form round buns and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Cover the shaped rolls with a damp cloth and set aside to rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Brush the risen buns with egg.
- At this stage you can also sprinkle the buns with sesame or other seeds.
- Put them in the oven for 12-14 minutes.
