Directions
- Peel and chop garlic and ginger into small strips.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pot with a thick bottom.
- Add half the pork and break it into a few smaller pieces.
- Fry without stirring over medium heat for about 5 minutes until the meat turns brown and caramelized.
- Turn the meat and fry another 3-5 minutes to make it brown on both sides.
- Add garlic, ginger, sugar and the remaining meat. Fry another 3 to 5 minutes.
- Add basil, tomato puree, sambal paste, vinegar, soy sauce and 1 glass of water.
- Mix everything well, bring to a boil and simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Cook the pasta al dente, add it to the meat together with the butter.
- Mix thoroughly and serve with fresh basil. Season with salt if necessary.
